Meet the Team

John Wiles – Head of Priory Training

Having spent 15 years in the Royal Air Force as an aircraft engineer, maintaining front line combat aircraft, John decided to retrain and became a qualified Business and ICT teacher in 2002. He has a wealth of experience in vocational qualifications and became an external verifier and latterly a standards verifier for a well-known awarding body. Passionate for ensuring learners from all backgrounds succeed, John was instrumental in pioneering a programme of study for learners from disadvantaged backgrounds with the Jon Egging Trust, a charity for which he is now a trustee.
