"I was excited to learn that apprenticeships are not just for school-leavers, and as an established team member I could start an apprenticeship to upskill. Gaining a nationally recognised apprenticeship will allow me to grow in my current role and take on more responsibility. I am really enjoying completing the apprenticeship. I have a dedicated assessor who acts as a mentor on my course. They genuinely care about my development and celebrate my contributions. It has given me the opportunity to network across the academy, meet other apprentices with similar aspirations, and has given me the chance to share my experiences and gain peer support also. Regular feedback and reviews are completed to track my progress, additional help and resources are offered when needed. I really thrive on feedback and this is one of my favourite aspects of the course. I would genuinely recommend this to anyone."
